Samuel Hobson House is at the leading edge of dementia care. Purpose built to the highest specifications, equipped to provide its residents with a secure, comfortable and caring environment.

Samuel Hobson House is a purpose built three storey building with enclosed landscaped gardens that provides long stay care for people with dementia. It also provides short stay care for people with dementia and whose carers need a break. It has 39 bedrooms with en-suite facilities. The home complies with all the latest health and safety regulations.

The home enjoys a splendid position away from the hustle and bustle, integrated within the local community and within easy reach of the nearby shops and meeting places of Wolstanton, Porthill and Maybank. Porthill Park cricket club and Wolstanton private bowling club are just a stones throw away from Samuel Hobson House. The garden has been carefully designed to fulfil all of the sensory needs of the residents. As the garden is newly planted, the residents can appreciate the changes that take place throughout the year.

All our staff receive continuous development with a comprehensive training programme aimed at the special needs of our residents. The ethos of the home is to recognise that each resident is a unique individual and to provide holistic care which fulfils their individual needs.

We also provide specialist care for people with learning disabilities and dementia.

We have close liaison with health care professionals and strive towards a centre of excellence.
